The searing brand inside my head
So firmly held in place

Watch and wonder as the embers glow
If my flame can be put out

The graceful notes, the sacred smoke
Will soon perfume the air
I will run to you as final proof
How deeply that I care
To put every wrong to right
You need a sacrificial lamb
Shades of orange and red leaping out of my head
Encompass what I am
